Whether you have your mid-afternoon break with Kaffeetrinken, Fika, Hygge or just a good old-fashioned afternoon tea, beverages and baked goods always seem to bring people together.

Coffee shop culture is a mainstay of the majority of continental Europe and it is a breeding ground for societies to mingle, share stories and connect in wonderful ways.

It is always my aim to immerse myself in the culture and lifestyle of a destination and I can think of no better place to do that than in the local coffee shops.
